  Barcelona avoided a shock defeat away UD  Barbastro , booking their spot in the next round of the  Copa del Rey . It was one-way traffic in the opening 45 minutes as expected, though BarΓ§a struggled to breakdown a resolute low-block from the hosts. The deadlock was finally broken after nearly 20 minutes however, thanks to a superb team move that was capped off by youngster FermΓ­n LΓ³pez from close-range. While Raphina doubled BarΓ§a’s lead after the break, the visitors were in for a shock when Barbastro cut the lead in half through AdriΓ  de Mesa Garrido, setting the home crowd alight. Any hopes of a miraculous equaliser appeared to be quelled in the dying minutes however, as Robert Lewandowski scored from the penalty spot after a hand-ball in the box from the hosts.
